An opportunity for a dialogue between the artist and the Artist’s Books
Speaker: EV Ratnam
EV Ratnam is a visual artist, printmaker and writer whose works are in major public collections in Australia, France, and Italy. She will present her Artist’s Books which feature ephemera: how she developed her ideas in these handmade books by using discarded objects, and how the book may be complete but unfinished when there is an additional opportunity to work with text to extend ideas. She will also explain the unique printmaking techniques she uses in some of these books.
