<p>The RMIT Design Archives, a unique repository of Melbourne-based design practice, includes work by many small independent presses, such as <em>Fast Forward, Is Not Magazine</em> (posters), <em>Crowd</em>, <em>Virgin Press</em> and <em>JillPosters</em>. This session will share insights into the history of Melbourne’s burgeoning publishing scene; the processes used in the production of this material, along with their cultural legacies; as well as sharing recent examples of projects drawing upon this archive.</p>
